The St. Joseph Fathers' Association is a social organization that was created in 2004, and its purpose is to bring together fathers of St. Joseph School students, past and present, to increase fellowship amongst our fathers and to raise funds for the School in conjunction with the School's PTA.
In addition, the St. Joseph Fathers' Association will assist the School and the PTA when called upon for the set-up and clean-up for specific functions, such as the annual Fall Festival, Breakfast with Santa, etc.… The SJS Fathers' Association is also available to assist in setting up recreational equipment for the students and any other miscellaneous enhancements that the School requires. Athletically, the Father Association recently added playing pick-up basketball games in the SJS gym. This new activity has been well received by all the Dads.
The Fathers' Association's social events take place throughout the school year, where we raise funds for the school while having a great time watching various sporting events. We are always reviewing new ideas to add to our schedule. The school year culminates with the highlight event of the Fathers' Association, the highly successful St. Joseph School Golf Open and Honoree Dinner, which takes place in early June. This event routinely attracts over 100 golfers and 200 attendees for the honoree dinner.
The Fathers' Association's goal is to continue to build camaraderie amongst all of our fathers while also assisting the School in various capacities in order to continue building the success that the School has established for over 75 years.
